Professional Development of ChatGPT-M Project Members: Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education
On Friday, February 6, 2026, members of the ChatGPT-M project team participated in the workshop “Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education”, delivered by Assistant Professor Ines Vlahović, PhD, from Algebra Bernays University.
The workshop is an integral part of the project activities and was funded through project resources. Its content covered the fundamental principles of generative artificial intelligence, including its advantages and limitations, ethical guidelines, and issues related to security and data protection, with particular emphasis on the basics of prompt engineering and practical examples of creating teaching materials with the help of ChatGPT.
The purpose of the workshop was to empower team members to use ChatGPT in a meaningful, responsible, and pedagogically grounded way in both teaching and research activities, as a systematic part of the project objectives.
During the eight teaching hours, members of the ChatGPT-M project team had the opportunity to exchange experiences, examples of good practice, and ideas for further application in their own work through practical tasks and discussions.
The workshop was exceptionally useful for the professional development of teachers, as it systematically and practically connected contemporary theoretical knowledge with concrete examples of the application of ChatGPT in higher education.
