ABOUT THE PROJECT

ChatGPT as a Tool for Modernizing the Teaching Process and Mitigating Burnout (‘ChatGPT-M’) is a four-year institutional project carried out at the Department of Teacher Education and Early Childhood Education within the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Slavonski Brod, during the period 2025–2029. The project is funded by the NextGenerationEU programme and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. In line with digital transformation and development, the activities of the ChatGPT-M project are focused on integrating innovative teaching methods through the use of ChatGPT, with the aim of improving the efficiency of the teaching process and reducing burnout syndrome. Project activities will be carried out by two working groups, WG1 and WG2, which will implement both separate and joint activities under the leadership of the project leader, Assist. Prof. Zrinka Fišer.

Our mission

The mission of the ChatGPT-M project is to identify the determinants of successful implementation of ChatGPT within the comprehensive teaching process at higher education institutions in Croatia. 

Our vision

Through clearly defined and strategically planned research, the ChatGPT-M project supports the integration of artificial intelligence tools into education in order to achieve an effective balance between human and machine activity.

Our goal

The aim of the project is to define ways to enhance the efficiency of the teaching process through the use of ChatGPT in higher education institutions, introduce innovative teaching methods, and identify the determinants of burnout among teachers.
